Cookie Policy

    Last updated: 14 October 2026. Covers magedia.com and store.magedia.com.

    Choose before optional services load

Use Accept all, Reject optional or Settings to choose. Optional services remain off until enabled. Choices are specific to the website where you make them and expire after 180 days. Use the persistent Cookie settings button to change or withdraw a choice.

    Necessary cookies and storage

The store uses session, security, login, cart, form-validation and cache-related cookies and browser storage to provide the services you request. These may include PHPSESSID, form_key, private_content_version, mage-cache storage and customer-data sections. Cloudflare may use security cookies such as cf_clearance or __cf_bm when required. The company website uses a session cookie for authenticated administration. These are not optional analytics.

magedia-consent-v1 stores the choices, notice version and date in local browser storage for up to 180 days of validity. The necessary magedia_consent_v1 cookie stores the same preference as a fallback when browser storage is restricted, also for up to 180 days. magedia-consent-history-v1 keeps the last 20 choices locally as evidence of your selections; it can be removed by clearing site data. user_allowed_save_cookie records whether store analytics is allowed, with a maximum 180-day lifetime. No preference is inferred from browsing or scrolling.

    Analytics

If enabled, Google Analytics collects usage statistics. Google may use _ga and _ga_* cookies, whose configured lifetime can be up to two years, and the store keeps local deduplication records for analytics events. These are not loaded for visitors who reject analytics. Google Privacy Policy.

    Marketing integrations

The Google Tag Manager containers are optional and only load when both Analytics and Marketing are enabled. They can deliver measurement and marketing integrations. Rejecting Marketing keeps these containers off even if you allow the store’s separate analytics integration.

    Optional features

The company website’s customer chat is only loaded when Optional features is enabled. Your chat messages are used to respond to the conversation. You can contact us by email without enabling chat.

    Withdrawal and browser settings

Changing your choice reloads the page to stop already loaded optional scripts. When analytics is withdrawn, the consent control removes accessible Google and advertising cookies with standard names. Cookies held exclusively by third-party domains must be removed through browser settings. Browser storage and third-party cookie limits may also affect persistence. Necessary cart and account data is not removed by rejecting optional cookies.
