Shopify Theme Development

    What you get

    Online Store 2.0 architecture

JSON templates, sections and blocks, so pages are assembled in the admin rather than hard-coded in Liquid

    Editable without developers

Your marketing team rearranges sections and launches campaigns without booking development time

    Fast on real devices

Core Web Vitals treated as a build constraint, measured on the mid-range phones your traffic actually uses

    Structured content

Metafields and metaobjects model bespoke content properly, keeping it editable instead of baked into templates

    Accessible by default

Semantic markup, keyboard navigation and contrast checked as part of the build, not retrofitted

    Version controlled

Themes developed in Git and reviewed, not edited live in the admin where changes are lost

    How we approach theme work

We build from your designs, translating them into an Online Store 2.0 theme where every page type is composed of sections your team can rearrange. The aim is a theme that still makes sense to edit in two years, so we keep Liquid readable, avoid duplicating logic across templates, and document the sections we build. Performance is designed in from the start: images sized and served responsively, scripts deferred, and third-party embeds isolated so one slow tag cannot block the page.

    Theme project workflow

    1

    Audit or design review

We review your designs, or audit the theme you already run, and agree what is in scope
    3

    Build

Development in a dedicated theme, version controlled and reviewed, with previews you can click through
    5

    Performance pass

Images, scripts and fonts tuned, measured against Core Web Vitals on real devices
    7

    Launch and handover

We publish the theme, document the sections, and show your team how to use them
    2

    Section planning

We map page types to reusable sections and blocks, so the theme stays editable after launch
    4

    Content modelling

Metafields and metaobjects set up so bespoke content is managed in the admin, not in code
    6

    QA

Cross-browser and cross-device testing, accessibility checks, and a full pass through checkout
